Welcome to My Life.
Thank you for being willing to be the supervisor of Luminjoy.
About Me

My name is Wenxuan Zhang, you can call me Winnie if you would like.
I was born in Jining, Shandong Province, a city with a rich historical heritage. Since childhood, I have been deeply influenced by the knowledge of Confucian culture. Two years ago, I was studying at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in the south of China. These two provinces, with only a one-character difference, are located in the south and the north of China respectively. They have not only changed my living habits but also enriched my insights and experiences. Now, I have crossed the ocean and come to London, UK, where I have become an international student majoring in Digital Media, PR and Advertising.
About Media
My interest in media lies on its power to shape perceptions and drive positive change within today’s complex interdections of meida, business, and politocs. It serves as apivotal bridge connecting organisations, stakeholders and society at large, and I am eager to develop my own authentic, distinctive voice.
Besides, another driving force behind my choice to pursue a career in media stems from my hobby—I’m deeply passionate about attending live performances of my favorite singers. When the music that once resonated solely through my headphones comes alive on stage, I’m enveloped in a grand and blissful atmosphere that feels like a warm embrace. Those few hours spent in this “Utopian paradise” have significantly heightened my interest in the media industry. I hope that in the future, I can rely on my professional skills and knowledge to get closer to the people I long to meet, and together with them, strive to become better versions of ourselves in our respective domains.
About hobby

"The wind rustles through the trees, singing a song of life—a song for the tongue-tied me."
In China, there is a very popular personality test called the MBTI personality test. It can serve as your label or characteristic, allowing others to better understand you. In terms of diplomacy, I am an introverted person, and “being alone” is also my favorite way to “recharge”. I really like the “20-minute park effect”. It’s the way I enjoy life most often. Every time I bask in the warm sun and see the lush green vegetation, my body and mind are stretched and purified. Nature, as a free “oxygen bar”, helps me fully immerse myself in my own world and feel the restoration of my own energy field.
Conclusion
I’m very glad to come to the UK and experience the blending and collision of different cultures. My time here has offered me a fleeting yet profound glimpse of this city—it cradles me like gentle flowing waters, inspiring me to delve deeper step by step.
Finally, to all souls that have not been tamed by standard answers, I wish us could become the person we want to be in our new lives.
