Hello everyone!My name is YAOWEN HU,and I’m 20 years from Guangzhou city,China. I’m a student in Media, Advertising and Public Relations at the University of Westminster. I’m really excited to begin this blogging journey as part of our media course. For me, this blog is not only a space to complete assignments, but also a creative platform to express ideas, reflect on media theories, and connect academic learning with real-world communication practices.
I have always been fascinated by the way media influences people’s thoughts, behaviours, and social relationships. Growing up in the digital era, I’ve seen how short videos, social media campaigns, and digital storytelling can shape public opinion and brand identity almost overnight. This is what first drew me to study media and public relations — the idea that communication is not just about delivering information, but about building emotion, trust, and dialogue between people and organisations.
My main interests is listening to music ,there are my favorite albums.Outside of academic life, I enjoy photography, travelling, and exploring how culture and technology intersect in everyday media. In my spare time, I’d like to play computer game such as Valorant,Apex these fps game.I also like playing PS5 with my friends .
