Jane: Definitely!!!! I’m curious about everything around here, and so far, the teachers and classmates I’ve met have all been very friendly. Actually, I‘m a introverted person, but I really enjoy meeting new friends, experiencing new things and different cultures. So I am looking forward to seeing how I will change in the future. I hope to become more outgoing and positive.
Reporter: It sounds like you are full of confidence about your future life. What do you like to do in your free time? Or do you have any hobbies?
Jane: I’m an athletic person, so I’m passionate about all kinds of sports, especially basketball, running, and fitness. In the past, I was the captain of my school’s basketball team and have won various awards. At the same time, my favorite activities are going to concerts and fan meetings! I really like Blackpink, and actress Kim Jiwon.
Reporter: Wow!! That’s super cool! I can’t even imaging you can play basketball!! Why did you choose to study media at Westminster University instead of pursuing a sports-related major? With your love for sports, it seems like studying sports would have been the natural choice for you.
Jane: In my free time, I love playing on my phone and scrolling through social media. So, I actually developed an interest in media quite a while ago, especially in the production side of things. How to edit videos, how live streaming works, and the principles behind it all—I’m really curious about those aspects. Moreover, working in the media industry offers more job opportunities, allowing me to meet different people, broaden my horizons, and gain a wider understanding of the world. Westminster provides excellent educational resources, and its location is very advantageous, so I believe studying at Westminster will be a great experience in my whole life!
