The medium is something that can always be seen within the media and has also been introduced into social media. The way that media is communicated has a very strong effect on opinions and influences multiple factors of the viewpoint of someone receiving media. “The medium is the message” is a term created by Marshall McLuhan, signifying the importance of how media is modified by its specific method of being delivered. Different media of communication, such as television, print, and social media, all have specific influences on how they are perceived by viewers, which shapes their overall opinion of the media that is being shared.
