My name is Hao. I am a student majoring in Digital Media and Communication.
I spend much of my free time playing video games and badminton. Video games interest me a lot because they are not merely entertainment; they are complex digital spaces with unique narratives and online communities. Badminton is my way to step away from screens, keep active and reset my mind.
Through this module, I hope to learn how to use media theories to examine digital platforms and online culture. I also want to build stronger critical thinking skills so I can break down how information is created, shaped and spread across digital environments.
