Hi everyone!
My name is YAOWEN HU, and I am studying Media, Advertising and Public Relations at the University of Westminster.
I am interested in social media, fashion and popular culture. In my free time, I enjoy exploring different fashion styles, discovering new brands and listening to music. I am especially interested in archive fashion and streetwear because I think fashion is not only about clothes, but also about identity, creativity and culture.Music and fashion clothing are inseparable.
I also enjoy using social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. I find it interesting how people share ideas, express themselves and influence others through online content. This is one of the reasons why I want to learn more about media and communication.
Through this module, I hope to understand more about how media works and how it influences people’s opinions, identities and everyday lives. I would also like to improve my ability to think critically about the content we see online.
I am looking forward to learning new things, sharing ideas with everyone and hearing different perspectives throughout this module.
